Artificial Grass Manufacturing in Spain
At Realturf we take pride in our manufacturing capacity and the quality of our artificial grass. Every roll is tufted, finished, and tested at source to ensure the highest possible standards at all times. All our models are manufactured and marketed in accordance with the international ISO 9001 Quality Standard and the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard.
Since our beginnings, we have patiently tested, adopted, and discarded many developments and technologies. Today, we put at your disposal the expertise of a great team of professionals and a high-quality solution for every type of application — from sports surfaces to decorative landscaping. Our products are designed with one clear purpose: to achieve the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
We invite you to experience what motivates us:
Manufacturing the best artificial grass products
Origen Español Certificado (OEC)
Realturf, Spanish manufacturer of artificial grass, has been awarded the Origen Español Certificado (OEC) distinction. This certification helps highlight and enhance the economic and social value of Spanish companies that manufacture in Spain, making them more visible and recognisable to consumers.
Products that carry the OEC seal undergo a strict audit and component verification process to confirm their national origin.

R&D and Design
Our R&D team works year-round on the conceptualisation, design, prototyping and testing of new products in a constant process of continuous improvement. We also integrate feedback collected from thousands of clients worldwide, always with the aim of finding the perfect balance between performance and aesthetics.
Extrusion and fibre format
This is a key stage for product quality and technology integration. The selected raw materials are melted and extruded through a perforated steel plate to create the filaments that will later become part of the final product. These threads are stretched until they reach the thickness of natural grass fibres, and then combined into multi-filament spools.
Tufting
Hundreds of spools feed a tufting machine that stitches the fibres into the backing of the artificial grass. At the same time, blades cut the fibres to the desired height, density, and stitch rate, which ultimately determine the final technical characteristics of the product.
Supervision
Any irregular stitch is immediately detected by a supervisor and corrected manually. Following our strict quality protocol, each product undergoes a triple inspection: during tufting, after passing through the oven just before packaging, and through laboratory analysis of each production batch.
Coating and Perforation
A roller applies a coating layer to the backing, and the product is heat-cured in an oven, giving it dimensional stability and excellent fibre bonding. During this stage, the backing is also perforated with hot needles to guarantee effective drainage in our products.
Laboratory Testing
Every roll undergoes internal quality checks to ensure compliance with our ISO 9001 standards. In addition, many of our products are tested in independent laboratories and certified according to the most demanding international regulations such as FIFA, RFEF, ITF, FEP, FIH, and WR.
Packaging, Labeling and Storage
Finally, the artificial grass is packaged in rolls of up to 100 metres and stored until delivery. Each roll is labelled with a barcode that identifies the production batch and allows full product traceability from manufacturing to installation in your home or sports facility. From our logistics centre in Alicante, we ship to thousands of clients across five continents.
