The FireProof technology uses polymers in its fibers that comply with the European standard EN 13501.  Our products have the fire resistant Cfl-s1 category, which ensures that our products do not spread flame if accidentally exposed to fire.

The entire collection has FireProof technology and it is very important if you want to put artificial turf next to a barbecue, for example.

Although artificial grass is not flammable, it can sometimes be accidentally exposed to fire and be potentially dangerous. That will not happen with Realturf artificial grass.

FireProof technology uses polymers in its fibres that have been treated to comply with the European standard EN 13501 obtaining the fire resistance category Cfl-s1, and ensuring that our fireproof artificial turf does not spread flames in case of accidental exposure to fire.

Together with the other Realtech® technologies, everyone’s safety is guaranteed as FireProof makes the artificial turf resistant to high temperatures and even dissipates heat.

Remember that this technology does not prevent the artificial grass fibres from burning but it will prevent the fire from spreading. Artificial grass fibres can be damaged by exposure to fire.
