AntiStatic is tested to flooring/electrostatic standards (UNE EN-14041; IEC 61340-4-1) and is invisible to the eye, so you keep the natural look and feel people love.
AntiStatic is a RealTech® enhancement that embeds tiny carbon-based conductive elements into the turf system—within select yarns and/or stitch threads. These elements create a safe, permanent “escape route” for static electricity so it can’t build up on the surface. There’s no coating to wear off, no change to color, softness, or blade shape—just turf that’s more comfortable and reliable in everyday use.
Static forms when people and gear move across the surface (triboelectric effect). AntiStatic disperses that charge through dissipative fibers/threads and into the backing, infill, and ground, lowering peak voltages so shocks are virtually nonexistent. Because the conductive pathway is built into the turf itself, performance is continuous—especially helpful in low-humidity climates and busy facilities where friction is constant.
